Basic CAPE COD TOUR - You Select Day 4 Itinerary

cc Boats at Provincetown Wharf.jpg (47935 bytes)Unpack only once for a relaxing paced visit to Old Cape Cod.  Begin your sojourn in the resort town of Hyannis, home of the famous “Kennedy Compound”. You’ll visit the oceanfront President John F. Kennedy Memorial overlooking the waters he loved to sail.  Spend time strolling Main Street lined with shops and restaurants and enjoy an evening of entertainment at a popular Dinner Theatre.

We’ll visit Sandwich, the Cape’s oldest town, with a stop at the Sandwich Glass Museum featuring a live glass blowing demonstration.  Lunch is included at an historic and charming inn following our visit to Heritage Plantation to stroll acres of manicured gardens and grounds (Tourmobile available).  There is also a unique collection of antique cars housed in a beautiful round stone barn.

Our route to the tip of Cape Cod at Provincetown will take us along historic and scenic King’s Highway passing the Great Salt Marsh, cranberry bogs, quaint cottages with white picket fences, and long stretches of beach framed by beautiful sand dunes.  We’ll make picture stops at Eastham Windmill and Chatham Lighthouse.

No trip to Cape Cod is complete without the excitement of a Whale Watch Cruise to observe the “gentle giants of the sea” that often surface along side the boat providing “picture perfect” opportunities!

A traditional Farewell Lobster Bake is planned with an alternative meal upon request.
