Day 1 - Your exciting vacation adventure begins with your arrival in Bar Harbor, Maine and a visit to the top of Cadillac Mountain in Acadia National Park for a spectacular panoramic view of Frenchmen’s Bay.  You’ll have time on your own for dinner and browsing the shops along “Maine Street” in the seaside resort town of Bar Harbor.  Overnight Bar Harbor
Day 2 - This morning we board “The Cat”, fastest ferry in North America bound for Yarmouth, Nova Scotia. Once on board, you’ll have plenty of time to enjoy a relaxing breakfast (on own) during the 3-hour crossing. Sit back and relax in the sea air or shop for bargains in the onboard Duty Free Shop.  [Boats Moored in Peggy's Cove]
We begin our tour by following the “Evangeline Trail” along the Bay of Fundy known for the world’s highest tides.  Included is a visit to the historic site of Grand Pre to hear the tragic story of The Expulsion of the French Acadians by the British in 1755 immortalized in Henry Wadsworth Longfellow’s epic poem, “Evangeline”.

A sunset dinner tonight will be in the quaint seaside fishing village of Peggy’s Cove where the lighthouse is the only one in Nova Scotia that also serves as the town Post Office.  D   (2-Nights Halifax)

Day 3 - We begin today with a city tour conducted by a Local Guide. You will learn about two major events in Halifax’s history – the Sinking of the Titanic and how the people responded, and the largest man-made explosion prior to the atomic bomb that leveled the city.

Day 5  - The highlight of our time on Cape Breton - a full day drive along the 184-mile Cabot Trail described as the “Big Sur of the East” for its ribbon of roadway that snakes along the rugged coast.   Be sure to have plenty of film to capture the breathtaking scenery!  Dinner tonight is sure to please!  B, D

Day 6 - This morning we leave the grandeur of the Highlands behind and make our way to the Province of New Brunswick for an overnight stay in Moncton.  Dinner tonight is onboard a lobster boat as we watch the captain pull up “dinner”.  Sit back and relax as the crew prepares our “fresh from the sea” lobsters (alternative meal available) as we dine in the calm waters of Shediac Bay with down-home Acadian hospitality.  B, Lobster Dinner Cruise (Overnight Moncton, NB)
