International Fireworks Competition Grand Finale Show

Spend 4days/3nights in charming Quebec City designated by UNESCO as a “World Heritage City” for being the only walled city in North America. The highlight of our visit will be attending the “Loto-Quebec International Fireworks Competition Grand Finale Show” held at Montmorency Falls and named one of the “Top Events in Canada for 2005” by the American Bus Association.

Our accommodations will be at the Hotel Chateau Laurier conveniently located just one easy block walk to the Entrance Gate of the walled city. A scrumptious Welcome Dinner has been arranged in the Old Port.

All breakfasts on this tour will be held at “Mystery Locations” for some added fun!

You’ll see and learn about this lovely French-speaking city during our tour with a Local Guide. A guided tour of the famous Chateau Frontenac has been arranged and there will be time to explore the narrow streets and alleyways at your own pace.

We’ll venture outside the city for a scenic drive along the beautiful Beaupre Coast with lunch at the Manor overlooking Montmorency Falls. Before returning to the city, we’ll visit breathtaking Sainte Anne Canyon so be sure to pack your camera!

Our cruise on the Saint Lawrence River will end at the Island of Orleans for a memorable Farewell Dinner. Then it’s off to the Grand Finale “Show of Shows” where, from our reserved seats, we will view the best of all the fireworks displays demonstrated during the week of this international competition.

As always when visiting Canada, we’ll stop for Duty Free bargains (US Dollar Buys More in Canada!)

Optional Buffet Dinner: Join us for a special evening at the Chateau Frontenac where an unforgettable dining experience awaits in the Café de la Terrasse that overlooks Dufferin Terrace. The lavish buffet features many regional items including selection of smoked fishes, cold seafood, mixed salads, soup, salad bar, Quebec cheeses, carving station and three meat and fish entrees, potatoes, vegetables, extensive dessert table, coffee and tea.
