UNICORN TOURS

Spend 3-days/2-nights exploring the beautiful Hudson River region of New York State with a visit to the US Military Academy at West Point, FDR’s boyhood Hyde Park Home and thrill to an old-fashion Barnstormer’s Air Show.

Upon arrival at West Point, we will have a ninety-minute guided tour of the grounds with a visit to beautiful Cadet Chapel where many graduates return to be married.  We will learn how our nation’s military leaders are trained and what life is like as a cadet at this institution founded by Thomas Jefferson 200 years ago.

Following an extensive breakfast bar, we will have a guided tour of FDR’s boyhood home located high above the Hudson River.  This is the site of our nation’s first Presidential Library and served as a retreat for our only 4-term president.

Next, you will thrill to the antics of bi-plane pilots recreating the days of the WW I Ace Fighter Pilots and witness an actual dogfight in the air above you.  The famous two-hour Rhinebeck Air Show will take you back to the Barnstorming Days of the 1920’s.  You will have time to visit all four buildings that house an extensive collection of vintage airplanes and automobiles.  

 Before departing for home we will be treated to a Student Guided Tour of the

Culinary Institute of America.
